What is mindfulness ?

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.

Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful. And there’s growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful, you’re actually remodeling the physical structure of your brain. The persistence of mindfulness meditation is to study and practice how to identify one’s thoughts and sensations without attaching to or judging their meaning.

This is gifted by training the mind to constantly regain focus on the present moment in order to gain awareness of one’s experience. It is problematic to engage in this present-time gratitude development if one’s mind is greedy onto the past or racing into the future. Recovery also involves facing the future consequences of past choices and behaviours, which can be sources of fear, regret or despair.

  • Mindfulness It’s a pretty candid word. It suggests that the mind is fully presence to what’s  happening, to what you’re doing, to the space you’re affecting through. That might seem small, except for the annoying fact that we so often turn from the matter at hand.
  • Our mind takes flight, we misplace touch with our body, and pretty soon we’re occupied in obsessive thoughts about something that just happened or troubling about the future. And that makes us anxious.
  • Until now no matter how faraway we gist away, mindfulness is right there to snap us back to where we are and  what we’re doing and sense.
  • Mindfulness is the basic social skill to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly responsive or overcome by what’s going on around us.
  • Mindfulness refines our consideration with the goal that we can associate all the more completely and legitimately with whatever life brings. So often our impression of what is occurring is mutilated by predisposition, propensities, fears, or wants.
  • Mindfulness encourages us see through these and be substantially more mindful of what really is.
